mini futuristic helicopters

I was in New York, on the bottom floor of a skyscraper, and suddenly the earth starting shaking, and I thought it was an earthquake. Then I and others realized it must be a terrorist attack. We began walking through the streets, and I saw plumes of black smoke rising in the distance, and we kept walking, to wherever we would be evacuated from the city (?) But no one seemed to know where to go, and I just wanted to get home, didn't feel particularly panicked, just didn't know what the hell was going on. Finally it seemed that the military had started acting, and small flying saucers/mini futuristic helicopters were picking up individual people to fly them out of there. One came to grab me and I had Monty in my arms, and suddenly the ground beneath my feet was getting smaller and smaller, and I held Monty as tight as I could and marveled that he wasn't freaking out as we climber higher and higher in the sky, and New York was becoming a speck and I could see the coastline stretch out for miles. The hover-bot approached what looked like Fiji, and dropped Monty and I down in the middle of some little mangrove... I didn't know where the hell we were, but was just glad that it was warm and beautiful and I wasn't in terrorist-attacked New York anymore.
